On Thursday March 24th 2022, we will follow Ridha Dhib, performing artist, in the ash tree avenue of the Artistic Observatory in Trampot (Vosges - France). He will contribute with a short footage and pictures integrating an augmented reality compass pointing towards Mardin, at the turkish-syrian border.
Why Mardin ? Because the pictures will also be part of his "Ex-tracés"-project, a 4200 km long journey (the wrong way) along the Balkan route taken by the refugees from Syria. At each of his stopovers, he will write down a part of the Geneva convention about refugees in Braille in the soil.
Once again, a tree avenue, which is a physical link used by the neighbours, the tourists, etc. will be part of a powerful symbolic and universal link.
